EVOOA member Roy O'Connell of Sparks, NV owns this 1967 International
TravelAll Paddy Wagon, which is equipped with an ambulance
fiber glass top.
It was purchased by Sparks PD in 1967 as their Jail was burning down to haul prisoners
to the County Jail. It is the only paddy wagon in Sparks PD's history. It was sold
in 1971 to a well drilling company and converted into a 4 wheel drive. Roy's retired
partner located it in 1995 for sale. He struck a deal with the people who had it
and with his Dad Lloyd's help, they removed it off the 4 wheel drive frame and put it
back onto a 2 wheel drive frame. They then have been restoring it to it's original looks
and have the same equipment in now with the exception of the growler siren. You can imagine
how much blood, sweat, and tears they have put into this vehicle. It still has the
original vehicle number sticker on the door jam.
