This 1972 Chevrolet Belair owned by Ed Sanow was formerly the
patrol car for the Frohna, MO, Marshal's Office. The 402 big block
police engine racked up a whole 22,000 miles in 24 years when it was
retired from active service in May 1996. It has been completely
restored since this picture was taken and recently won the "Best Police
Car" award at the Lisle, IL, DARE car show (September 1997).
